Love this girl...

...and her crooked little smile. I've never had another person, especially one so small and sweet, try my patience and loving kindness everyday. What a blessing you are to me Eleanor!

Yup, that's ours! Due August 8, we are very excited to be adding to our family.

Valentine's Treats

Here we are this week making valentine rice krispie treats at Nana's house. We made small shape hearts and dipped the corners into chocolate for Jack's class party and also made some large ones to put on sticks to hand out to friends. 

So much fun!

 

Notice how Ellie is dressed by color for the occassion. She likes to put leggings or comfy pants on for nap time and we are often too lazy to change back again.

Great Wolf

Last weekend we took the family up north to Traverse City to visit the Great Wolf Lodge. For those of you don't know about Great Wolf, it's a big hotel with an indoor waterpark. There are a few different ones in the state and they become quite popular during our cold winter months. The kids had a blast and so did we. Jack had a great time on all the slides and especially pretending to be a shark in the lazy river with Josh. And Eleanor by no surprise showed us again how fearless she is. All 23 pounds of her riding all the slides and tubes and jumping into the pools with no one catching her. She would just go under and bob back up with her life jacket. Her favorite words, "I do it myself Mommy!" All that fun and these are the only pictures we managed to come away with. (I was a little nervous about bringing the nice camera by all that water).
