Bike safety day

Last week Eleanor's class got to bring their bikes (or in Ellie's case, her scooter) to school for "Bike Safety Day" A police officer, one of her classmates dad, came to talk about the importance of wearing helmets and well, being safe.
Eleanor had no desire to sit on her knees so she could be seen...do you see her little face poking out near the back?

I felt a little bad not having a bike for her. She has outgrown the tricycle used last summer and we have yet to purchase a two-wheeler. Thankfully Ellie has never been a follower and seemed to be okay doing her own thing on the scooter. Some of her friends were kind enough to let her try out their bikes as well. She told me she's ready to get her new bike now and at Meijer last night picked out a horn for it (a very loud horn the whole store could hear over and over).

So cute! Eleanor has great taste in clothing because Isla has that same little coat. I can't believe how big your babies are. Hope we see you soon. xoxo
