Quote of the day

Every time we drive to my in-laws on the other side of town we pass by two hospitals. For months now Jack has had a fascination with hospitals, doctors and all things medical. That to say, he knows that Ellie was born at Saint Mary's and he was born at Spectrum Health - Butterworth.

I love how their little minds work to remember all the details. 

He was riding with Josh last night and says

Dad, there's 'Central Health - Butterscotch' where I was born.

Too cute - he was close anyways

i'll do it myself

I imagine how many times this phrase must run through my daughter's mind each day. 

So then if mom won't paint my toenails the moment I want her too, I'll do it myself with a crayon.

The smile on this girls face when I came around the corner was priceless! 

She couldn't have been more proud of herself.

Mother's Day

Why is it that only on holiday's you can't get the picture you want? The best I could with Jack is the back of his head...Neither of them would even take a picture with me.

Never the less, Mother's day was a beautiful day and i felt overwhelmingly loved by my kids and husband. I'm so thankful I get to be their mom.

My Brother Scot has moved home from Florida for the summer to open and run his new business Placid Wake Park and It's been so great to have him around regularly. He loves kids so much but otherwise rarely got a chance to see them. I love to watch them interact now and love on eachother
